Venue

The workshop will be held in the Hotel Dupanloup  located in the center of Orléans, close to hotels and Loire river. This building is a former episcopal palace that was built in the 17th century. Since 2013 this building has become a research centre for the University of Orléans, hosting numerous international events.

The lecture room is located in the first floor of the building. Posters sessions and coffee braks will be organized in the same building or outside if the weather permits.

Social Programme

There will be a welcome reception (18H00-19H30) at the “Hotel Dupanloup” on the Sunday, along with the registration (16H30-18H30). The mayor of Orléans will also welcome the participants of SLOPOS-16 on the Monday evening at the “Hôtel Groslot”, built in the 16^th century.

On Wednesday, a guided visit of the “Château d’Amboise” (https://www.chateau-amboise.com/fr/) and “The clos de Lucé”  (https://vinci-closluce.com/en/place-presentation) is planned.

Finally, on the Thursday evening, a banquet in a casttle located near Orléans is planned.
